What I can do and how I do it.
Blacksmithing
With a gas forge and a traditional foot operated coal forge, I can take on almost any small-medium blacksmithing project.
Welding
MIG (steel), TIG (steel, stainless, aluminium), and stick welding (steel, stainless, cast iron).
Cutting & Shaping
With a hand-operated plasma cutter, angle grinders, bandsaw and bench grinder, i can take on most materials up to around 100x100mm.
Prototyping and Planning
Projects are drawn up in CAD, any scale models required can be 3d printed, and then for 2d-designs they are traced directly onto my bench/the workpiece.
Materials
I work primarily in mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. For blacksmithing work I use mild steel bar and square stock, with the option to use tool steel for edge tools/blades. I can source specialist materials on request.
