Some custom steelwork gates I recently made and installed for a very cute customer!
This was a smaller project — a pedestrian gate for a side passage, with a matching garden gate. The design is simple but effective, as the client did not want to stray too far from the original wrought iron gates which had hung there for decades.
The gates were finished in a warm black satin paint, with steel hinges and a gravity latch. The customer’s pony approved of the final result, which is the highest compliment I can get.
Installation was straightforward — the posts were bolted to existing brick pillars, with the whole process taking less than an hour.
